Hi I’m Lisa Elliot-Rosas, living my life to the fullest in Ojai, CA. I own and operate a high-end fashion showroom with over 20 years of success growing many of the brands you know and love. Recently, I founded Lit Up as a continuation of my efforts to build beautiful brands.

I created Journey33 with the intention of architecting a travel journal geared towards travelers seeking a more authentic experience. A fresh and tailored site offering a variety of information with good taste and local findings. For me, that means two things: incredible food and amazing destinations.

Filmmaker / Jewelry Designer

Inspirations: Laughter, good food, travel, lazy days, my dogs, my friends
Places traveled: Paris, Venice, Bahamas, St. Tropez, Lake Como, London, Porto Chervo Sardinia, Greece, Hong Kong, Monaco, Mexico, Hawaii, Switzerland, Vancouver, Toronto, Madrid, Tunisia.

Bio: grew up in Los Angeles where she was always surrounded by the arts. She spent much of her childhood on movie sets and was aspired to recreate the magic of movie making. At 18 she moved to New York City, where her love for the arts expanded to include acting and painting. Anika studied at Sarah Lawrence College, The American University of Paris, and the American Film Institute. After spending time abroad, Anika returned to New York to work as an actor. While working in a number of independent films, she re-discovered the art of film making; a medium she felt integrated all the things that she loved into a single creative expression. As a classically trained painter Anika became excited to trade her paintbrushes for a camera and bring her visual aesthetic to a new medium.

In between films, Anika pursued her passion for design. She has collaborated with her mother on interior design projects, designed a line of drapery panels for Florio Collection and designed jewelry for her own line called Brooks Poitier. Anika’s desire for an eco-friendly and non-toxic lifestyle has inspired her latest design endeavors including co-creating ASP & Co.

Head of Global Ad Sales at Zynga

Favorite places: Kauai, Sedona, NYC, Paris, Cuba, Belize

Inspirations: Love, Nature, Gems, my Husband and two dogs.

Bio: A native Los Angelina, Gabrielle resides in LA with her husband and two dogs. LA is a muse and a demon, a double edged sword. Dining at new and old haunts, discovering hidden gems, and exploring nature in the city are her favorite past times. By day she works in media at a large Internet Publisher, off the clock she is a jewelry designer and a repressed rocker. From the ocean to downtown, she finds her inspiration in hidden alcoves across the city. Though she was born and bred here, LA is a vast metropolis which continuously unfolds mysteriously and miraculously before her, and which she is unfailingly dedicated to.

Owner / Designer

Favorite places: Guatemala, Brazil, Spain, Italy, Greece, France, England, Scotland and scattered states in the US.

Inspirations: My children, The Rolling Stones and a well crafted piece of fiction.

Bio: Paz Stark grew up in LA and still lives in LA. It’s smoggy and hot as heck, but she loves it. Paz spends most of her time enjoying the company of her son and daughter. In her rare spare moments she works as much as she can, answers the phone on occasion, shops online a lot, and fantasizes about being adventurous. In the past four years she has managed to travel to Brazil, New York, Israel, Austin, Kauai, Maui and Portland. Next month she is going to to Ecuador and is looking forward to watching the turtles and seals in the Galapogos Islands.

TV Producer @ Shark Tank

Favorite places: Italy, tropical beach locations, NYC.

Inspirations: Documentaries, films, books, art, design, music, traveling.

Bio: Yun Lingner loves traveling and obsesses frequently over food. She’s partial to exploring urban cities and stylish beach locations over thrills or adventure-seeking. She’d choose a bowl of caccio e pepe in Rome, over trekking the Andes any day. She is a television producer that lives in Silverlake with her husband and son.

Photographer

Favorite places: Africa, Morocco, Costa Rica, Europe.

Bio: Born in California, I started taking photos after I stole my mothers 35mm Canon ( I was ten). Oh I loved it! I loved the way the camera looked, and how it felt to press the shutter release. By the time I was in Junior High School, the camera was just as much a part of me as my arm. I joined the yearbook and would shoot all of my friends doing their best model poses. It was clear, that I wanted nothing else than to become a photographer. When I could I moved to NY (rumor had it, that NY is where the photographers were, so I arrived with my best friend and some cheap luggage.) It took a few but I finally got my start, a street fashion column in the NY POST. It was the late 1990s so I found joys in capturing styles that varied from a single strap messenger bag look to a slip over pants ensemble.

Entrepreneur · Author · Singer-Songwriter · Wellness Innovator · Sound Healer

Favorite places: Aptos, Capitola, Monterey, Carmel, Ojai, Paris, Kauai and NYC.

A New Yorker shaped by a decade in Manhattan, Robin always knew California was inevitable. Every place she has lived added a layer to who she is, and so did every discipline she mastered. She trained in modern dance in the Alvin Ailey tradition, earned a master’s in education, ran dance programs and choreographed. As a singer-songwriter, she wrote and released Love to You. Along the way she became a licensed massage therapist, senior yoga teacher trainer and speaker. Each one built on the last, and together they became a philosophy: body, mind and creativity are one system, and ritual is how you tune it.
Near the cliffs of Seascape, that philosophy became a company. Robin is the Founder and Creative Director of The Daily Makeover, lifestyle & wellness brand that brings restorative experiences straight to clients and partners with leading coastal resorts, corporations and hospitality groups. Its mobile spa, classes, retreats and collections have earned a loyal following, from the Magic Blanket to the Manifesting Ring and the North Star Necklace, all built on one idea: everyday moments can be acts of intention.
Robin is the author of The Manifestor Effect, a practical guide to turning intention into reality, with a coastal cookbook and a clean skincare line of her own design both on the way. She teaches yoga, leads sound baths and workshops, and speaks on wellness, manifesting and the art of designing a life that fits who you really are.
Her compass points up and down the California coast. She’s happiest catching the sunset from her deck, getting coffee and walking with the girls at Rio del Mar, thrifting in Santa Cruz, watching the fog lift over Monterey Bay, strolling the colorful shoreline of Capitola, or soaking up the energy of the ocean and the redwoods. Then she comes home to the beaches of Aptos to chase pickleball wins, write songs, build apps and hunt for shells with Leroy Brown, already three steps into the next big idea.
